Drum Mic Placement Comparisons

Sorry for the delay, between work amd other activities I have not been able to line up a drummer for my next comparisons.  

But now I have a drummer lined up who is willing to play his drums so I can record them. 

I will be looking at how a cajon sounds from a mic in different locations, comparisons on where to mic the different parts of a drum kit, etc….. Maybe comparing placements on bongs, congas, djembe, and other assorted percussion insterments. I will also demonstrate my personal favourite way of micing a kick drum as well.
