Guitar Mic Placement Comparisons

I was to record a guitar tonight but my guitar player I had lined up couldn’t make. So for now I am going ask people to respond with a comment about how they would mic a guitar. Then I will take those a record how it sounds from different placements also  I will record how a pick up vs a mic sounds. So please send in your comments and feel free to ask anything regarding sound and topics you would like me to cover. 

Update got the recording done look for the post Sunday wth the comparisons between pick up and different mics.
